Drama Unit

The school has a drama unit comprising of students and teachers. dramaThis drama unit team comprising of 29 students and 3 teachers of the school represented Arunachal Pradesh at Shankar Lal Murti Hall in New Delhi. The students showcased the rich and unique culture heritage of Arunachal Pradesh by adding a new dimension to Rabindra Nath Tagore’s famous fable , chutti ,directed by Shri Akhilesh Khanna of Nation School of Drama ,New East Children’s Theatre Festival was held at the Shankar Lal Murti Hall in New Delhi from 8 th to 16 th September 2007 organized by the National School of Drama(NSD) in collaboration with North Eastern Zonal Culture Centre (NEZCC),Dimapur and the Department of Art and Culture,Govt. of Arunchal Pradesh.

Game & Sports activities

The school encourages team spirit and physical fitness. It has provision for out door like cricket, Badminton, Volley Ball and Basket Ball and indoor games like Table tanis,carom and chess etc. Games and sports competition are conducted from time to time. The school participates annually in CBSE cluster level games and sport competition, where ever it’s held.

Literary, science & cultural club

The school has a science club with enthusiastic members from eveculturalry class. The member takes active part in the science projects and represents the school in events like Science Seminar and Science exhibition. Membership of the club is open to all and registration should be done within a month after the beginning of the new session .The library club caters to the need of library activities in the school under the quiz, essay, extempore, debate declamation and poetry writing are some of the areas to explore the self and the club organizes such programs from time to time under the supervision of a cultural in charge. The culture club organizes and performs programs for various shows in and outside the school.Music, dance and drama are the main areas of exploration.
