It is a proud moment for the school as well as for me. The school has come a long way crossing various hurdles, to reach the present status. With an aim to equip the students with an unparalleled knowledge base combined with overall personality development, the school has stood up to its motto ‘knowledge for peace and progress’.

Established in 1991 under the aegis of HUTTO WELFARE SOCIETY with only 5 students in the Nursery class, Green Mount School had a humble beginning. Two decade hence, it is a full-fledged Senior secondary school, affiliated to the CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, NEW DELHI. It has been a wonderful and enriching experience to see the school evolve so much and come up as one of the best educational institutions in the Capital complex.

We have always believed in the saying by Swami Vivekananda, ‘Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man’. The school has always, therefore strived for bringing in each student, their individual potential to excel not only in school but in life. Education shapes individuals with values that will decide the course of their future. They say ‘If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people’. We, at Green Mount, believe in the latter.

With the kind of infrastructure the school has, it has been possible for us to never compromise on the quality of academic, moral and spiritual education. The institution has been actively pursuing the development of the young citizens of this country. As of today, the fields of activity being pursued involve a judicious mix of the mental, the physical and spiritual evolution of each child entrusted by society to this institution.

Our alumni are doing exceptionally well in their chosen field, some already serving the nation and some on their way to do so. And I can only thank my experienced and committed team for making it possible. This is also an opportunity for me to thank the parents and the well wishers who have had immense trust in the school.
